Tijekom ovih par mjeseci organizatori Detroit Electronic Music Festivala nisu se mogli odlučiti o pravom imenu festivala, pa su se po medijima javile nejasnoće. Jedni su pisali o Movementu a drugi o DEMF-u. Konačno je 10-tak dana prije odlučeno da će festival nositi ime "Movement: Detroit's Electronic Music Festival '08" . Uz standardne konferencije i seminare koje nudi na popisu se našlo preko 100 DJ glazbenika koji će gostovati i to svih žanrova elektronike. Festival se održava od 24. do 26. svibnja u Detroitu.
